Driftwood Estate Named Among the World’s Top Wine Producers in Inaugural IWSC Top 50 List
We are very proud to announce our inclusion in the inaugural IWSC Top 50 Wine Producers list.
Margaret River wineries were celebrated within the top tier of global wine producers recognised by the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) – with 10 making the top 50 list!
The list was compiled based on three consecutive years of outstanding IWSC results, celebrating producers who exemplify consistency, craftsmanship, and excellence across vintages.
The list’s focus on multi-year performance highlights not just isolated achievements, but long-term winemaking quality — a benchmark Driftwood Estate has now met with distinction.

A milestone for Driftwood Estate and Margaret River
Having 10 local wineries named among the world’s top 50 producers cements Margaret River’s international reputation as one of the most exciting and high-performing wine regions in the world, demonstrating the region’s growing influence on the global stage.
To be celebrated within this cohort feels like a true recognition of our journey, and commitment to consistency, year-on-year.

"Being named in the IWSC’s first-ever Top 50 Producers list is honour for the team. This recognition speaks to years of dedication in the vineyard and the winery, and to our commitment to producing wines that embody the character and purity of Margaret River.
Driftwood has always been about premium quality without pretension — wines made with care, craft, and a sense of place. To see that approach recognised internationally is incredibly rewarding."

A foundation for future excellence

This recognition feels like more than a recognition of what we have achieved, but a catalyst for further innovation and refinement.
As we continue our focus on sustainable viticulture, small-batch precision, and varietal clarity across its range – we are looking forward to the future and exciting new innovations at Driftwood Estate.

"What makes this achievement so meaningful is that it reflects consistency across multiple years. Great wine isn’t the result of just one good season; it’s the product of meticulous work, sustainable vineyard practices, and a team that pays attention to every detail.
Our inclusion in the IWSC Top 50 confirms that the vision we share — creating wines with balance, freshness, and integrity — is resonating with global judges as much as it does with those who enjoy our wines at home."
